I have recently begun to revise my first draft of my novel, "Singularity Hackers". I am new to revising, and it's been tough to get going. 

The eye of the hurricane?

There is a conflagration of forces threatening the lives of millions, if not billions of people, now. We are all holding our breath for the negotiations with Iran, but the clear result that we already see is that our source, not just of oil, but also of helium, which is crucial for semiconductor production and fertilizer.

 

Anthropic has built an AI capable of finding and exploiting vulnerabilities in all sorts of systems running our infrastructure. They're being careful for now, but the destructive power of this kind of technology is like a nuclear bomb that can be copied and tossed around as easily as a virtual soccer ball in an online video game.
