I am an avid fan of stories that inspire curiosity. In particular, I am a fan of Science Fiction. I am also a lifelong fan of Young Adult fiction, with its endless pursuit of meaning and direction in one's life. I also love traveling and theater, and am heavily involved in a local theater group. I am a foodie, and I love to travel.
I am currently living in central North Carolina with my wife and two dogs. I have a bachelor's in Economics, a master's in International Business, and a graduate certificate in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. I have had a long career in IT. I studied in Russia for the last semester of my undergraduate career and did an internship in England as part of my master's program.
My latest obsession is studying the societal and personal effects of advanced artificial intelligence, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and the related coming wave of change.
